Napa Inspired Brunch Right Here in Fort Mill

In the car? Listen here!

After a few brunches at Napa in Kingsley it’s time to report back!

First off, how can you not love the atmosphere? The restaurant is absolutely stunning, from the light fixtures, wine library, and huge windows that open up to the outdoor patio overlooking the lake, all the way down to the water glasses. It's a comfortable space with a Napa Valley feel.

There aren’t any drink specials yet or complimentary muffins, but it doesn’t even matter because you’re about to indulge in one of the most decadent meals in town. Let’s start with the cocktails. The mimosa is mostly champagne with a splash of your preferred juice (that's how we all like it, right?). All cocktails are crafted to perfection starting with fresh squeezed juices, local fruit for garnishes, and unique ingredients that offer an experience rather than your plain Jane cocktail. Whether you’re in the mood for a simple bloody mary or a complex lavender lemon martini, you’re in for a treat. Learn more about their cocktails and wines on tap at napakingsley.com.

Sunday is THE day to go since there’s live music from 11am-2pm. Live music always enhances the venue, and for us it took it from “this is a lovely brunch” to “wow, we could stay here all day!” brunch.

So far we’ve had the chicken and waffles, French toast, crab cake eggs benedict, and croque monsieur. They were all rich and delicious in their own way; see below for our quick thoughts on each.

  • Chicken & Waffles: Powerful flavor without being too spicy or too sweet. Loved the white cheddar and chive waffle.

  • French Toast: Exceeded expectations with its chocolate chip brioche and sweetened cream cheese.

  • Crab Cake Eggs Benedict: Rich and filling; enjoyed every bite of the crab cake.

  • Croque Monsieur: A solid choice that will please almost any pallet.

Keep an eye out for the chef special – it’s typically a unique, thoughtfully curated dish. And just remember, you don’t have to go into Charlotte to find all the cool brunch spots. Fort Mill is lucky enough to have Napa Kingsley right here with locally-sourced dishes from a forward-thinking, creative chef.
