Gold Hill ER Open House on Jan. 16; set to open on Jan. 20

Fort Mill Now got a sneak peek of Piedmont Medical Center’s new Gold Hill ER and saw nurses training and running through drills, preparing to provide the best care possible.

The ER has provided over 40 local job opportunities. We spoke with Nurse Manager Josh Crawford who said the multi-disciplinary team comprises of nurses, techs, registration, lab, radiology, EVS security and physician partners. He said he has a skilled, highly trained team that is ready to offer an outstanding service and experience to the Fort Mill community.

“The standalone ER will provide emergency services and access within minutes, which is incredibly important because minutes do matter, and being able to have early interventions is really important to the community.”

DETAILS: Celebrate the opening of Piedmont Medical Center's new Gold Hill Emergency Room at their VIP Reception. Take a tour of the brand new 17,000 sq. ft. stand-alone ER, open 24/7/365 beginning Jan. 20.

They have a full range of on-site diagnostic and lab services; they are staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians, experienced nurses and support staff; they provide ambulance transport to hospital care if necessary. See Facebook event here.
