Foundation for Fort Mill Schools Cookin’ 4 the Kids Chili Showdown
The Foundation for Fort Mill Schools is sponsoring the Cookin’ 4 The Kids Chili Showdown on Saturday, January 26th, from 11:00am-2:00pm to help raise money for programs that directly impact Fort Mill students. The Foundation for Fort Mill schools helps fund student scholarships, grants for teachers and administrators, and a district-wide free school supply store for students in need. You can attend this event and join the fun in a variety of ways!
Enter as a contestant – if you have your own recipe that you are ready to show off you can enter your chili and see if your chili comes out on top.
Be a taster – you will be given tasting tools to go around and try all the different chilis. Using your finely-tuned chili pallet you will be voting on the best chilis of the day.
Tastings are from 11am-1pm and awards we be presented at 1:30pm. In addition to the chili showdown, the event will feature student choral performances, FMSD STEAM showcase, student art displays, concessions, and a raffle for a chance to win a comprehensive orthodontic treatment package. Come on out and support our schools this weekend!
