Fort Mill Scarecrow Crawl registration forms due by Sept. 18

It's almost that time of year again when festive scarecrows line the streets of downtown Fort Mill from Oct. 5-31. You can join in on the fun in a couple of ways!

Make your own scarecrow to display, whether you're looking for a family-fun activity or want to promote your business. It's free to participate and scarecrows can be submitted by anyone - individuals, schools, businesses, organizations, churches, teams, etc. Registration forms are due by Sept. 18.

Scarecrows will be voted on by a panel of judges for the following categories:

• Most Fort Mill Spirit

• Best Use of Recyclable Materials

• Most Creative

• Best Name

• Most Complex

• Best Overall

The public will also have the opportunity to vote for People’s Choice and the Town of Fort Mill Best Department Scarecrow by liking their favorite on the Town of Fort Mill's Facebook page from Oct. 9-28.
