YoCo Beer Week Nov. 9-16, Celebrating York County's 6 Craft Breweries

If you like craft beer and good times, this week is for you! Celebrate all the craft beers York County has to offer during YoCo Beer Week, Nov. 9-16. It's a week dedicated to the six craft breweries in Fort Mill and Rock Hill, with five of those opening in the past year!

Download the Visit York County SC app and check in at each brewery using the special YoCo Beer Week Passport to win a special prize that will be given out at the Tap the Rock Festival on Saturday, Nov. 16.

Upon visiting the breweries, you could even score a YoCo Brew Trail pint glass!

Saturday Nov. 9 | ALL DAY: Slow Play Brewing First Anniversary Party

$10 gets you a glass and your first beer. Tokens available to purchase for additional beers.

BOTTLE RELEASE INFO: After a total of nine months in barrels, Slow Play will be releasing "The Rake" Barrel Aged Series! They made two variants of this farmhouse ale: one fermented in Chardonnay barrels, and the other in Pinot Noir barrels. Following primary fermentation, the barrels were topped up with the same base beer, "The Rake", which is fermented with a Voss Kveik strain. Details here.

Saturday, Nov. 9 | 2-6PM: Get Down in Old Town at Rock Hill Brewing Company

Live music from the Mike Faulkenberry Trio and the bluegrass band Crystal Fountains. There will be axe throwing, kids face painting, art vendors, food vendors, adult hot chocolates, and fire pits. Details here.

Sunday, Nov. 10 | Dust Off Brewing

$7 flights, $5 select pints with a food truck on site.

Tuesday, Nov. 12 | Lake Wylie Brewing

Beer release of Shoreline Rye Pale Ale.

Wednesday, Nov. 13 | Amor Artis

Live music in the taproom from 7-10PM. Details here.

Thursday, Nov. 14 | Legal Remedy

Barrel Aged Bottle Release “Imperial Motion to Strike Milk Stout” from 4-10PM. Details here.

Friday, Nov. 15 | Rock Hill Brewing

Live music from 7-9PM, and the Baltimore Crab Cake Company food truck will be serving food from 5-9PM. Details here.

Saturday, Nov. 16 | 12PM: Tap The Rock at Main Street Bottle Shop

Tap the Rock kicks off at noon with a Battle for South Carolina inside Main Street Bottle Shop. The keg that taps first wins. Details here.

Breweries in the Battle for South Carolina include: Amor Artis, Birds Fly South, Benford Brewing, Coast, Dust Off, Edmonds Oast, Freehouse, Legal Remedy, Low Tide, Revelry, River Rat, and Slow Play.

TICKETS:

VIP: $60, includes a commemorative sampling glass and unlimited samplings of all the great NC and SC beers. Your tickets also gives you access to rare specialty beers, 2015 Brooklyn Black Ops, 2016 Olde Hickory Event Horizon, and a flight of Dogfish Head 120 (2017, 2018, and 2019).

Unlimited Tasting Tickets: $35 and includes a sampling glass.
