4th of July festivities in and around Fort Mill

We have rounded up five July 4th celebrations in and around Fort Mill. From a ski show, parades, and fireworks, there are plenty of fun ways to celebrate with the whole family!



FRIDAY, JULY 2

The Carolina Show Ski Team, 6-8PM

Park at The Glennon Center and take a shuttle down to Windjammer Park to catch The Carolina Show Ski Team that starts at 7PM! Shuttle services runs from 5:30-8:30PM. Golf Cart parking is very limited at Windjammer Park. Traveling by boat? Tune into 89.1 to hear what's happening!


SATURDAY, JULY 3

Land Parade, 9AM

Golf carts, groups, and floats are welcome to participate in the parade but must register! Learn more about registration and prizes here.


Model A Concert at Runde Park, 6-10PM

A DJ will kick things off at 6PM before Warrick McZeke takes the stage at 7PM. Parking is available at Runde Park along with overflow parking at the lower level tennis courts and Tega Cay Golf Course.


Food truck vendors include Abbott's Frozen Custard, Baltimore Crab Cake Co., Hog N Dog Too, Maki Taco, Pelicans, Roman's All-Star Cafe, Sal's Roadside Eatery, and Wilbur's Last Ride. NO BYOB, grills, or pets allowed.


SUNDAY, JULY 4

Fireworks Show, 9:30PM

End a weekend of celebrating with a spectacular fireworks show. Read about the parking situation here.



Town of Fort Mill Indepence Day Celebration

SATURDAY, JULY 3

From 5-9:30PM, celebrate the 4th of July with food, fireworks, and fun in the Town of Fort Mill! See all details here.


Bandstand Performances, 5-8PM

Stroll through downtown shops and vendors, dine at restaurants and food trucks, and enjoy live music.

  • The 246 Army Band will play patriotic music at 5PM.

  • DJ Brown Sound at 6PM.

  • Carolina Rhythm Band at 7PM.

  • DJ Brown Sounds at 8PM.

Ceremony and Firing of the Cannons, 8:45PM

Stop by the Bandstand at 8:45PM for the Town of Fort Mill Independence Day Ceremony that includes patriotic musical performances and the annual firing of the town cannons.

Fireworks, 9:15PM

The fireworks show begins at 9:15PM.


SATURDAY, JULY 3

Celebrate from 4-10PM with live music, food, drinks, fireworks, and family! There will be live music from Groove Machine & Kids in America, inflatables, food trucks, beer/wine, and fireworks at 9:30PM. (No pets allowed.)


Fireworks, 9:30/9:45PM

The fireworks show begins at 9:30PM.

SUNDAY, JULY 4

Parade, 9:30AM

Celebrate at the area's largest parade - or be in the parade! No sign up required. Just show up at 8:45AM in the lot behind Killington's (900 Market St.).

Fireworks, 9:30-10PM

Fireworks will take off at Lake Wylie by the Buster Boyd Bridge S.C. Hwy 49 at Lake Wylie and are best viewed at: The Buster Boyd Bridge Boat Landing, Papa Doc's outside deck, Rey Azteca deck at Lake Wylie Plaza, Lake Wylie Italian and Pizza on patio at Lake Wylie Plaza, Bagel Boat and Long Cove Resort
