Calling All Local Businesses: Rock the Red for Heart Month

February is American Heart Month, and the Gordon Owino Heart Foundation is inviting local businesses to come together for a powerful cause—supporting children and families affected by congenital heart disease.

This February, businesses of all sizes can make a meaningful impact through simple, heartfelt ways that raise awareness, give back, and show love to heart families right here in our community.

Easy Ways to Get Involved

Partnering with the Gordon Owino Heart Foundation doesn’t require a big lift—just a big heart. Businesses can choose one (or more!) of the following ways to participate:

Rock the Red

Help spread awareness by displaying a red bow at your business and wearing red on Fridays throughout February. It’s a visible, meaningful way to show support for children and families living with congenital heart disease.

Host a Give-Back Day

Pick one day in February to donate a percentage of your sales to support heart families. Participating businesses will be promoted across the Foundation’s social media and community network, giving your business added visibility while making a difference.

Round Up for Hearts

Invite customers to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar, donating the difference to help children with congenital heart disease. Small contributions add up to a big impact.

A Small Effort, A Big Difference

Each of these options is designed to be easy, flexible, and impactful—allowing businesses to give back in a way that fits their brand and operations while directly supporting families who need it most.

Become a Heart Month Business Partner
