January at Olive’s Mud Puddle in Downtown Fort Mill is packed with music, art, and hands-on fun — the perfect way to shake off the winter chill and get inspired. Whether you love live music, creating with clay, or simply soaking up the creative vibes, there’s something happening almost every week to spark your imagination.

January 3 | Singer-Songwriter Session | 2–4 PM

Kick off the month with an afternoon of original music and storytelling. Hosted by the talented Steve Simpson, this cozy session features singer-songwriters sharing their craft in an intimate, welcoming space.

January 15 | Third Thursdays Art Crawl | 4–8 PM

Downtown Fort Mill comes alive for Third Thursdays, and Olive’s Mud Puddle is right in the mix! Stop by during the Art Crawl to enjoy creative energy, community vibes, and an Open Mic from 4–6 PM, hosted by our very own Paul Whitsett. Expect music, poetry, and spontaneous magic as local voices take the mic.

January 17 | Ukulele Jam | 12–2 PM

Grab your uke (or just come to listen!) and join Tracey Simpson for a laid-back Ukulele Jam. This feel-good gathering is all about connection, creativity, and a little island-style joy — no pressure, just play.

January 17 | “Make a Bud Vase” Workshop | 2–4 PM

Keep the creative momentum going with our hands-on ceramic workshop! Learn how to create your own charming bud vase — perfect for brightening up winter days or gifting to someone special.
