Tips for Strawberry Picking
Go early: The best berries are picked first, especially on weekends
Dress for the field: Wear closed-toe shoes that you can get dirty
Check social media before you go: Farms will post updates on availability and weather conditions
Don’t overfill your basket: Strawberries bruise easily—handle with care :)
Bring a cooler! If you'll be traveling a long distance after picking, a cooler with a frozen ice pack is a great thing to have.
Strawberry season is short but oh-so-sweet—so grab your crew and make a morning of it. There’s nothing better than supporting local farms while making memories (and maybe a strawberry dessert or two).
