Join the Town of Fort Mill as we honor those who gave their lives in service to our country at our Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25, 2026.
📍Unity Cemetery (303 Tom Hall St.) at ⏰10 a.m.
The ceremony will feature:
Welcome & Special Remarks by Mayor Guynn Savage
Reading of the Names of the Fallen by Fort Mill Town Council
Special Reading by the 2026 South Carolina Strawberry Festival Queens
Posting & Retirement of Colors by Scout Troop 219
Laying of the Wreath & Rifle Volley by American Legion Post 43 & Ladies Auxiliary
National Anthem sung by Ava Pezzuto
Taps tribute by Mike Packard
Special music by Anna Davis
Want to honor a fallen service member? Submit their name, rank, and branch of service to jhester@fortmillsc.gov by May 20, 2026.
This is a free event. Parking is available at the Fort Mill Utilities Department, 131 E. Elliott St.
The ceremony will be recorded and posted later on our YouTube channel: @fortmilltv
Free lemonade by Anchors Aweigh Lemonade for attendees, complimentary of the Town of Fort Mill.
Please note: Fort Mill Town Hall will be closed on Memorial Day.
