A brand-new holiday tradition is coming to Fort Mill this December! The first annual Fort Mill Tree Fest will take place on Friday, December 5, and Saturday, December 6, 2025, at St. John’s United Methodist Church (130 Tom Hall Street, Fort Mill, SC 29715).
This festive two-day event will feature beautifully decorated Christmas trees created and sponsored by 19 local nonprofit organizations, each representing a vital service or program in the Fort Mill community.
The event kicks off with a Preview Evening Reception on Friday, December 5, followed by a full day of festivities on Saturday, December 6. Throughout the weekend, guests can stroll through a sparkling display of themed trees, each uniquely decorated to reflect the mission of its nonprofit.
All trees will be available in a silent auction, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the participating nonprofits. It’s a wonderful opportunity to support local causes while taking in the sights and sounds of the season.
Visitors can also enjoy live holiday music and light seasonal refreshments throughout the day. Admission is FREE — for both the public and for nonprofits wishing to participate.
The response from local organizations has been overwhelming, with a diverse group of nonprofits already signed on to join this first-year event. The full list of participants is available at www.fortmilltreefest.com.
Organizers hope the Fort Mill Tree Fest will become an annual community tradition — one that celebrates giving, creativity, and the spirit of the season.
