Four SC Strawberry Pre-Festival Events You Should Know About Now

A Fort Mill favorite returns for its sixth year! The Strawberry Sprint & Stroll 5K and Fun Run kicks off the Town of Fort Mill Strawberry Festival on Saturday, April 25, in the heart of Fort Mill’s historic downtown.
The race begins and ends on Main Street, featuring scenic neighborhood streets and rolling hills. The 5K starts at 9:00 AM, followed by the one-mile Fun Run at 10:00 AM.
After the race, enjoy a lively Runner’s Village with local vendors, food trucks, a kids’ zone, music, and special appearances by Berry B. Good and the Strawberry Queens. This hometown event is made possible by Fort Mill Economic Partners, supporting a vibrant and thriving Fort Mill community.
This year's Charitable organization is Carolina Thread Trail. They will be receiving a portion of the race profits. Make sure and sign up for the race or volunteer at https://strawberry5k.raceroster.com/ to help support their cause!
The South Carolina Strawberry Festival returns Friday & Saturday, May 1–2, 2026, and it's calling on artists to help bring this year’s festival to life!
High school students (9-12th Grades) and adults of all skill levels are invited to submit original, strawberry-themed artwork for a chance to win:
$500 cash prize
VIP parking during the festival
Recognition at the Welcome Ceremony on Friday, May 1
Deadline: Friday, February 13, 2026 at 5:00 PM

The SC Strawberry Festival Pageant is right around the corner, and registration spots will fill up quickly! Interested participants are encouraged to register and complete the application.
Want to learn more before signing up? Join them for an Interest Meeting on Sunday, March 1, at the Fort Mill YMCA at the Complex (971 Tom Hall Street). The Little Miss Strawberry Interest Meeting will be held from 2:00–3:30 PM, followed by the SC Strawberry Queens Interest Meeting from 3:30–5:00 PM.
