Submitted by Colleen LeBleu-- Lumi School of Musical Theatre is thrilled to announce the grand opening of our Fort Mill location on January 11th, and we’re celebrating with a fun-filled open house for the whole community! Families are invited to step inside our brand-new studio, experience the energy of Lumi, and discover what makes our program so special.

During the open house, guests can enjoy free mini classes in musical theatre, dance, acting, and voice—perfect for children who love to sing, move, perform, or simply try something new.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the studio, meet our incredible teaching staff, and learn more about upcoming classes and productions. Plus, we’ll be hosting a giveaway as a special thank-you for celebrating this exciting milestone with us.

Lumi School of Musical Theatre offers comprehensive theatre training for children and teens, including musical theatre, dance, acting, and vocal instruction, all taught by passionate, experienced educators. Our students don’t just take classes—they work toward full musical productions, gaining real performance experience in a supportive, encouraging environment. From first-time performers to seasoned theatre kids, Lumi is a place where every child can grow, shine, and feel confident on and off the stage.

Theatre education plays a powerful role in a child’s development. Through theatre, children build confidence, creativity, communication skills, and teamwork. They learn how to express themselves, take healthy risks, listen to others, and work collaboratively toward a shared goal. Theatre also fosters empathy, discipline, and resilience—life skills that extend far beyond the stage and into the classroom, friendships, and future careers.
