Submitted by Rachel Johnson-- Panda Express, the largest Asian dining concept in the U.S., officially opened its new location at 8474 Charlotte Highway in Fort Mill with a fun, musical community celebration.

To mark the opening, Panda hosted a grand opening event featuring a ribbon-cutting and a live DJ, giving people a chance to have a karaoke experience outside the restaurant. Panda Express also presented a check donation to the Fort Mill Care Center.

Plus, guests who purchased a Plate during the event received a limited-edition Pandaoke Kit, available while supplies lasted. The kit was designed to help guests take the celebration home and was inspired by the brand’s recent ad campaign, “Have You Eaten Yet?”—a familiar expression of care in many Asian cultures. The ad features a crew of fun-loving aunties who turn a simple yet profound question into a full-blown karaoke celebration, singing the phrase as a heartfelt (and hilarious) way to show love through food.
The event helped connect the community while celebrating the joy that comes from sharing good food and music.
The Fort Mill Panda Express offers all the brand’s favorites, including The Original Orange Chicken®, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and Broccoli Beef, and is now open ready to serve local residents.
