Fort Mill is getting ready to serve up something big. Peachtree Pickleball officially opens Tuesday, January 27, and with it comes a major milestone: Fort Mill’s first indoor pickleball complex!

Housed inside a massive 42,000-square-foot, climate-controlled facility, Peachtree Pickleball is designed for year-round play and built to welcome everyone from beginners to seasoned competitors.
Inside the New Facility
Peachtree Pickleball features:
10 indoor courts
Climate-controlled comfort
Professional coaching and instruction
Space for leagues, lessons, open play, and community events
Whether you’re new to pickleball or already obsessed, this facility brings a level of play and accessibility Fort Mill hasn’t had before.

A Building With a Story
One of the most unique aspects of Peachtree Pickleball isn’t just what’s new—it’s what’s been preserved. The building itself has deep roots in Fort Mill’s history. In 1991, Springland Associates developed Peachtree Plaza, with Winn-Dixie Marketplace serving as the anchor. In 2011, BI-LO acquired Winn-Dixie, and the store eventually closed in 2017.
By 2019, the space was renovated and repurposed as annex space for LPL Financial Services, supporting their larger corporate headquarters in nearby Kingsley Town Center.
Now, in 2025, the building has been reimagined once again—this time as Peachtree Pickleball. Throughout the facility, you’ll find original grocery store signage and design elements, a thoughtful nod to the space’s former life. It’s a creative way to honor the history of Peachtree Plaza while giving the building a fresh purpose—one rooted in community, movement, and fun.
With its size, amenities, and year-round accessibility, Peachtree Pickleball is more than just a new business—it’s a new gathering place- a transformation of a familiar space into something exciting and active.
