Award-winning bluegrass band Steep Canyon Rangers coming to Fort Mill Sept. 1


Steep Canyon Rangers is coming to Fort Mill on Friday, September 1 - the perfect way to kick off Labor Day weekend! Anne Springs Close Greenway will host the award-winning Bluegrass band, Steep Canyon Rangers at the Comporium Amphitheater in collaboration with South Carolina Public Radio and South Carolina ETV.


Gates open at 4:30PM with Briarhoppers taking the stage at 5:30PM, followed by Steep Canyon Rangers from 7-9PM.


Steep Canyon Rangers earned three Grammy nominations, “have released 14 studio albums, three collaborative albums with actor and banjoist Steve Martin, been inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame, and appeared on some of music’s biggest stages,” according to the band’s website. “In 2013, Nobody Knows You won the GRAMMY Award for Best Bluegrass Album, while 2012’s Rare Bird and 2020’s North Carolina Songbook garnered nominations in the same category.”


🎟️ Purchase tickets online for $35 per person, $40 day of event. Children four and younger are free.


🦮 Dogs on leash are welcome.


🧺 Bring chairs and blankets for lawn-style seating.


🚗 There will be field parking with a short walk to the amphitheater.
