Updated: Apr 5

Spring is around the corner, and what better way to celebrate the season than with the Fourth Annual Strawberry Sprint and Stroll 5K and Strawberry Jam! Presented by the Fort Mill Economic Partners, this community gathering promises a weekend filled with fun, fitness, and family-friendly activities.

Strawberry Jam on Friday April 26

The festivities kick off with the Main Street Strawberry Jam on Friday, April 26th, from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Attendees can enjoy live music, local vendors, food and drinks, downtown merchants, and activities for kids. Whether you're a music enthusiast, a foodie, or looking to enjoy an outdoor evening with friends, the Strawberry Jam is the perfect way to kick off the weekend!

Strawberry Sprint and Stroll on Saturday April 27

The excitement continues on Saturday, April 27th, with the Strawberry Sprint and Stroll 5K and Fun Run! The action-packed day begins with the 5K race commencing at 9:00am, followed by the 1-mile Fun Run at 10:00am. Participants will traverse the rolling hills of historic downtown that starts and ends on Main Street and are encouraged to dress in their strawberry best! All participants will receive a race shirt and a participation medal.

Following the race, runners can unwind and celebrate their achievements at the Runners Village, including local merchants, food trucks, a kids’ zone, and music. Berry B. Good, Fort Mill’s cheerful strawberry mascot, and the reigning Strawberry Queens will also be part of the festivities.

This year, the Foundation for Fort Mill Schools is the charitable partner for the event. By participating in the Strawberry Sprint and Stroll, attendees not only engage in a healthy activity but also contribute to the betterment of education in our community. View all of their initiatives here.
