This is part of our Community series. Submit your story here.

Healthy Kids Running Series, a national inclusive and fun youth running experience, inspiring boys and girls (ages 2-14) to believe in themselves and lead an active healthy lifestyle, is a five-week running series at Walter Elisha Park at 345 N White St in Fort Mill beginning Sunday October 15th at 3 p.m.

Kids compete each week in their designated age or grade level division. The distance is based on their age (all information is on the website but the shortest is 50 yd dash for the 2-3 year olds up to a mile for the oldest groups). Every participant will receive a T-Shirt and Medal. Registration is $40 for the five-week Series (increases to $45 on 9/25. Based upon a point system from all 5 weeks, there are trophies for the top runners in each category.

Healthy Kids Running Series impacts more than 60,000 youth runners in 300+ communities across the United States. We are grateful to be able to provide this in our own town!
