Fort Mill 150 Outreach Project-Join us to help Fort Mill Care Center!

This is part of our Community series. Submit your story here.

Submitted by Jacona Hester-- In honor of the Town of Fort Mill’s 150th Anniversary, the public is invited to join a community outreach project to benefit Fort Mill Care Center.

The Town will be collecting several items to benefit the Fort Mill Care Center:

  • shampoo

  • deodorant

  • lotion

  • body wash

  • wipes

  • toilet paper

  • dish soap

  • disinfecting wipes

  • all-purpose cleaner

  • paper towels

The public can drop off these items in the lobby of Town Hall, 200 Tom Hall St., between Nov. 13 and 30, 2023. Town Hall is open between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

To help honor the 150th Anniversary, the Town wanted to make an impact in the community by supporting a local charity. The Town is partnering with the Fort Mill Care Center to help them re-stock some much-needed supplies they run out of this time of year.

Please note, Fort Mill Care Center will still be hosting its annual Thanksgiving Meal Food Drive in addition to this project. For more details on their services and initiatives, please visit www.fortmillcarecenter.org.
