July 4th Celebrations in Fort Mill and Tega Cay




On Saturday from 5-9:30pm on Main Street in downtown Fort Mill, enjoy live music, downtown merchants, food trucks, vendors, the annual firing of the cannons (8:30pm), and a fireworks show (9:15pm)!


There will also be plenty of children’s activities, including face painting, balloon artists, kids’ crafts, a chalk zone and kid-related vendors.

On Monday at 9:30am, participate or enjoy the region's largest July 4th parade. To participate, decorate your car, golf cart, float, bike, scooter, you name it, and meet in the lot behind Killington's by 8:45am. No sign-up needed.


To watch and enjoy the 9:30am parade, line Market Street from Killington's to Sutton Road. Arrive early for parking behind Town Center buildings. This parade has 150+ parade units, including the military, bands, bagpipers, shriner's performance units, clowns, classic cars, Charlotte's pro sports mascots, decorated units, street entertainers, fire departments, and more!

July 1

Tega Cay's 4th of July Celebration and 40th Birthday weekend starts Friday, July 1, at Windjammer Park from 5-9pm. Entertainment will feature The Goat Boater Freedom SUP Fun Run (5pm), Tega Cay Boat Parade (6pm), and the annual Carolina Show Ski Team Performance! (7pm). Food trucks will feature Gnam Gnam Gelato and Sal's Roadside Eatery.


July 2

Model A Brewing Concert Series at Runde Park from 6-10pm.


July 4

9am - Land Parade

4:30pm - Tega Cay Lion's Club Fish Fry.

7pm - Tega Cay's 40th Birthday Celebration at The Glennon Center followed by The Lion's Club Citizen of Year Award and Tega Cay's 40th Birthday Cake Cutting.

9:30pm - Fireworks show
