One of Fort Mill’s most anticipated nights of the year is back—and this time, it’s a milestone worth celebrating. The 10th Annual Green Gala: Black & White Oscars will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the historic Founders Dairy Barn at Anne Springs Close Greenway.
Presented by The Stone Man and Founders Federal Credit Union, this signature event is hosted by the Greenway Ladies Guild in partnership with Anne Springs Close Greenway and the inaugural Green Gala Host Committee. The evening promises elegance, purpose, and a celebration of everything that makes the Greenway such a treasured part of our community.
Celebrating 10 Years of Impact—and 30 Years of Preservation
For the past decade, the Green Gala has served as a cornerstone fundraising event supporting the Greenway’s mission to connect people to nature through conservation, recreation, and education. This year’s gala coincides with an equally meaningful milestone: the 30th anniversary of Anne Springs Close Greenway.
Founded on Anne Springs Close’s vision to preserve open space amid growing development, the Greenway has become a living legacy—offering miles of trails, hands-on educational programs, and outdoor experiences that continue to enrich life in Fort Mill and beyond.
A Night Where Community Takes Center Stage
The Green Gala celebrates not only the land, but the community that supports it. CN2 anchor Lucas McFadden, who will host the evening’s seated dinner, shared his personal connection to the Greenway:
“The Anne Springs Close Greenway is like a giant playground in our backyard. No matter your age, adventure awaits. I’ve been visiting the Greenway for as long as I can remember, and I’m always shocked to discover new trails, activities, and places to explore.”
That sense of discovery and belonging is woven throughout the evening—from the thoughtfully curated Black & White Oscars theme to the meaningful impact each ticket helps make.
Why the Green Gala Matters
Proceeds from the Green Gala directly support land stewardship, educational programming, and recreational opportunities at the Greenway. By attending, guests help maintain trails, fund hands-on learning experiences for children, and ensure this protected land remains accessible and inspiring for generations to come.
