Fort Mill in December is a special place! Packed with festive events from the annual Christmas Parade to a Tree Fest and Cookie Crawl, there's something for the whole family this holiday season.
Kick off the holiday season in downtown Fort Mill at the annual Christmas Village & Tree Lighting on Thursday, December 4. Enjoy festive vendors, holiday treats, live entertainment, and plenty of family-friendly cheer as the community comes together to light the town Christmas tree. It’s the perfect way to welcome the magic of the season!
The first annual Fort Mill Tree Fest will be held Friday, December 5, and Saturday, December 6, 2025, at St. John’s United Methodist Church. This two-day celebration will showcase 19 beautifully decorated Christmas trees, each created and sponsored by a local nonprofit highlighting the vital work they do in our community. Mark your calendar for this festive new event!
Join the community for one of Fort Mill’s most beloved traditions! The 78th Annual Fort Mill Christmas Parade steps off on Saturday, December 6, filling downtown with festive floats, marching bands, local performers, and plenty of holiday cheer. Bring the whole family and grab a good spot along Tom Hall and Main Street—it’s a local tradition you won’t want to miss!
Ring in the season at the Kingsley Holiday Celebration on Saturday, December 6, at Kingsley Town Center! Enjoy a festive afternoon filled with a Cookie Crawl, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, holiday treats, faux snow, photo ops, music from Fort Mill School Choirs, and plenty of family-friendly fun. This free, rain-or-shine event is open to all.
Main Street will come alive as it’s transformed into a festive winter wonderland filled with sparkling lights, family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and plenty of holiday spirit. Enjoy trolley rides, Santa’s Workshop, and a charming Yuletide Market featuring local vendors—there’s something for everyone.
Celebrate the season with a free, family-friendly holiday event at the Fort Mill History Museum on December 13 from 10AM–2PM. Enjoy an old-fashioned Christmas complete with visits with Santa, storytelling, sweet treats, a hands-on pioneer craft, and cozy marshmallow roasting. Explore the museum with guided tours and finish your visit with a little Christmas shopping in the gift shop.
