Spring Artisan Market and the grand opening of Schroering Forest Playground at Anne Springs Close Greenway

Excitement fills the air at the Anne Springs Close Greenway as it announces an exhilarating Spring Kick Off weekend, headlined by the grand opening of the Schroering Forest Playground on Saturday, March 30.

Thanks to the vision and generosity of Marty and Vesime Schroering, this natural playscape perfectly aligns with the Greenway's mission to offer outdoor recreation opportunities for individuals of all ages. Click here to read more about the playground.

Alongside the grand opening, the weekend will feature a Spring Artisan Market from 9am-3pm and various family-friendly activities. Festivities kick off with the Spring Artisan Market, a lively open-air market boasting 70 local vendors showcasing arts, crafts, and more. Shoppers can delight in retail therapy while enjoying bites and beverages from the Gateway Canteen (serving breakfast from 7:30-10:00am, with a limited lunch/dinner menu from 11am-8pm).

The Spring Kick Off will also include children’s activities, bubble-infused music from a live DJ, and a photo booth with special appearances by characters from the forthcoming Crandall Bowles Children’s Farm.

Continuing the celebration on Sunday, March 31, is a brunch at the Gateway Canteen from 9:00am-1:45pm. Reservations are required.
