Swing for a Cause: Tap Cancer Out Charity Golf Classic returns April 8
Prepare your clubs and mark your calendars because Fort Mill-based nonprofit Tap Cancer Out is hosting its second annual Charity Golf Classic! Golf enthusiasts and philanthropists are invited to the picturesque private course at Firethorne Country Club in Marvin, North Carolina, for a day of camaraderie, competition, and compassion.
The goal is to raise $30,000 in support of TCO’s esteemed group of cancer-fighting beneficiary organizations. This is the only charity golf event in the world where participants can fundraise to earn fantastic golf gear and prizes while making a difference in the fight against cancer. Gather your team, register your foursome, and kickstart your fundraising efforts to swing the sticks for a cause.
Last year, Rock Hill’s own Danny McMaster and his foursome raised nearly $8,000 on their own. Thanks to 72 fundraisers and event sponsors, the event as a whole raised nearly $40,000, which ultimately helped TCO donate $1.5 million at the end of 2023!

Fundraise Your Way to Free Entry
Individual foursomes can register at no up-front cost and compete for free as long as they raise $1,000 or more per foursome ($250 per person!). Plus, the more you fundraise, the more perks you earn such as golf equipment, tech, apparel, and a golf getaway!
