12 Reasons to Sign Up for Orangetheory

Orangetheory is coming to Fort Mill's Kingsley shopping center and we had a chance to sit down with owner Kelli Narveson to find out more. Although it won’t open until late summer, we came up with 12 reasons why you should sign up now.

  1. 30 minutes of cardio + 30 minutes of strength training. Led by a certified personal trainer, which makes it affordable (and fun!) to have a trainer.

  2. Receive pre-opening rates. Currently, they’re offering their lowest membership rate before opening to the public. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS!

  3. Preview classes for FREE before your membership begins. Try a few classes to make sure you opted in for the right package.

  4. Month-to-month commitment. You realize you want to go more than just 3 times a month? Change it!

  5. Can be a supplemental workout. Have a personal trainer? A part of another class? That’s OK! This is a great supplemental workout to get your heart rate up on a regular basis.

  6. For ALL fitness levels + you never plateau. A heart rate monitor allows you to see your efforts in REAL TIME! The goal is to get your heart rate to the orange zone for at least 12 minutes of the hour. You won't plateau because the more conditioned you become the more you have to challenge yourself to increase your heart rate.

  7. Each work is different. You will never do the same workout twice so there’s no risk in getting bored.

  8. Across the country, every Orangetheory is doing the same workout. Chat with your New York friends about that day’s workout.

  9. Various package options to choose from. Want 3 days a month? 8 days a month? Unlimited? You choose!

  10. Community. Meet new people and enjoy the camaraderie! You may just meet your motivational partner, too.

  11. Burn between 500 to 1,000 calories per workout. You’ve earned that glass of wine!

  12. Visit any Orangetheory on the road. Traveling is no excuse! With 600+ locations, work out at the nearest Orangetheory for no additional charge.
