Spark Your Child's Inner Ninja with STEM Camps in Fort Mill

School is out but learning is still in. Code Ninjas in Fort Mill has doubled their camp offerings with exciting new STEM technology and invite kids ages 7-14 to unleash their inner ninja this summer. If they're interested in apps, robotics, coding, or gaming Code Ninjas is the place to be.

Half and full-day camps are available, and offer a wide variety of interests from building video games, apps, and websites, to taking drones, Minecraft, and robots to tackle STEM challenges they'll never forget.

At Code Ninjas we celebrate gaming as an opportunity for creativity and learning so that your child’s mindset switches from being “Gamer” to being “Game Developer”.

What do the camps look like?

Game Builders Club: Ninjas will build their very own video games from the ground up using their own artwork (or Code Ninjas) and the coding skills that they will learn throughout this week long camp.

Minecraft Create: Solve challenges using 3-D modeling software. Use Tinkercad and MC Edit to create custom objects and import them into Minecraft Worlds in addition to tackling pixel-centered puzzles and STEM challenges.

Roblox Create: Learn the basics of game building and creative development on this fun, user-generated gaming platform.

Code Drones: Watch your code come to life as you learn flight terminology, explore simple concepts of physics, and tackle increasingly difficult obstacle courses throughout the week.

Build and Browse: Learn the essential tools that are the foundation to websites. You'll use HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Canvas to learn how to make web applications and make them stand out.

RoboPro: (staff favorite) Learn about Robotics and automation and work through progressively more complex projects that will teach you engineering and programming skills at the same time.

App Builders Club: Use and explore the MIT App Inventor framework to build apps or games! You'll go through the phases of brainstorming, planning, building, and testing applications and will have an app of your own!

Hack Attack: Practice testing and debugging using gamification, learn about Cyber Security and ethical hacking, and learn through puzzles, challenges and escape room type games that demonstrate these abstract concepts in an interactive way!

Camps are limited so reserve your spot today!
